WorkSafe/OSH Forklift Operator Certificate
 – Online and Onsite

Our new online forklift operators course is the most convenient way to train. Designed with you in mind, the theory component is done online, in your own time, at your own pace. The theory portion of this course is self-paced (2-4 hours) and can be done in multiple sessions. This is followed by a short practical assessment at one of our venues. Learn in your own time, at your own pace.

This course is for those already certified as a Forklift Operator with certification that is about to expire, or needs renewing. IVS Training recommends that a refresher is completed every three years.

If you are new to operating a forklift, please book a beginner course. Click here for beginner training courses. If you are confident on a forklift but need your forklift operators certificate, please book a classroom course. Click here for OSH Forklift classroom courses.

  • No need to schedule a full day off site for yourself or your operators – the theory can be done online anytime, day or night

  • Our eLearning is engaging, multi-format learning followed by an online assessment

  • This course covers everything required in the Approved Code of Practice and is approved by industry body Competenz

Once the online portion is successfully completed, you will need to book a time at one of our training centres in Auckland, Hamilton or Tauranga for a Competenz-approved assessor to complete your practical assessment for your WorkSafe/OSH Certificate. For group bookings, we can also provide onsite assessments at your workplace, please contact our team for more information. Phone 0800 021 169 or email training(at)ivs.co.nz.
