CBAFF Customs UUI Course
Complete the CBAFF UUI 10 Week course in one day per week for 10 Weeks. Ideal for those with work commitments that make it difficult to be offsite for several days in a row or prefer a more continuous model of training.
This in depth training program covers everything you need to know about customs procedure, regulations, and documentation. To earn a CBAFF Customs UUI Course Certificate, you must complete all 10 weeks , pass practical assignments, achieve an 80% pass mark on the final exam, and fulfil all payment requirements. Please note: NZ Customs has additional criteria, including active industry involvement, before granting a UUI.
Introduction to Customs Broking and the Customs Tariff Course
This course is designed as an introduction to the CBAFF Customs UUI course. Anyone who does not have at least 12 months working experience in the New Zealand Customs Broking Industry, is strongly recommended to first attend this course before they attempt the UUI Course. The Introduction course will provide you with the knowledge needed to confidently participate in the UUI Course.
This is a closed-book examination. As NZ Customs entries require a good command of the English language, there is no option to complete the final examination in Te Reo Maori. (80% pass mark as determined by NZ Customs)
For all personnel who have access to air cargo within a RACA's access-controlled area or for those who are involved in the application of security controls (excluding screening).
For people who wish to become registered users of the Joint Border Management Systems (JBMS) and obtain a Unique User Identifier (UUI) for export entries only, in accordance with NZ Customs Service regulations.
This mandatory training for KC organisations covers aviation threats, access control, operations, and cargo protection, security incidents, IEDs, CAA responsibilities, and requirements.
Students must complete both modules sequentially and achieve a minimum passing grade of 80% in the closed-book examination, as determined by NZ Customs. The final exam must be completed in English.
