Forklift Training
Whether you are new to forklifts or an experienced operator, we have the right course for you.
All forklift operators need an Operators Certificate (OSH) to be entitled to drive a forklift. This certificate expires every 3 years. In addition to the Operators Certificate, the F endorsement is required to drive a forklift where there may be public or on public roads. The F endorsement does not expire.
Please note that you must take your course certificate provided by Agoge Training to a licensing agent (VINZ, VTNZ, AA) to have it added to your licence and pay the additional fee directly (approximately $44).

OSH Forklift Operator Certificate
Standard course with the option to complete the F Endorsement on the same day
This one-day course is the base certification for operating a forklift - you can't legally operate a forklift in New Zealand without a current OSH certificate. With this certificate, an operator can operate in any area with closed/restricted from public access.You don't need to hold a driver licence to complete this course, so any individual can be certified on completion of the course. Once achieved, this certificate expires every 3 years and a refresher course is required to renew it
OSH Operator Certificate - $228.00 + GST

OSH Operator Certificate + F endorsement (completed on the same day) - $268.00 + GST

OSH Forklift Operator Certificate - Refresher
(With the option to complete the F Endorsement on the same day)
A half-day course to renew your OSH certification for another 3 years. With this certificate, an operator can operate in any area with closed/restricted from public access.
OSH Certificate Refresher - $165.00 + GST
Will you be driving the forklift on a road or in a public place? Are you the operator for an unsealed area? You may legally require an F endorsement! Have a look below for more information.
OSH Certificate Refresher + F endorsement (completed on the same day) - $205.00 + GST
(Must hold a class 1 driver licence)
OSH Forklift Operator Certificate - Beginners
(With the option to complete the F Endorsement on the same day)
We have taken our regular course and extended it to a two day course so that those of you that have had little to no experience operating a forklift can get the extra time you need to learn more.
- Extra practical training time - important for those with no experience
- More extensive training and learning for new operators
- A certificate indicating more extensive forklift operator training received
In the Beginner Forklift Operator training course our trainers spend more time than our standard operator training course going through all the theory that you need to understand before operating a forklift and then provide you with a more extensive practical training experience. On completion we will provide a certificate that states that you have been through more extensive training on a forklift to increase your employer or future employers confidence in your ability.
OSH Certificate Beginners - $300 + GST

OSH Certificate Beginners + F endorsement (completed on the same day) - $340 + GST
(Must hold a class 1 driver licence)
F Endorsement Only
If you drive a forklift on a road then you must also have an F endorsement, additional to your OSH certificate. Anywhere the public can access freely in New Zealand is technically deemed to be a 'road'. This includes, but not limited to: public car parks, bridges, culverts, road shoulders.
To have forklift training for an F endorsement you must hold a full Class 1 drivers licence. You MUST also hold a current OSH Certificate to operate a forklift in New Zealand. The F endorsement course is run as an added module to our OSH Certificate courses.
Please note: The F endorsement does not expire, so you only need to renew your OSH certificate every three years.

Forklift - Platforms
Unit standard 18409 Level 3 Credits 4
Use a forklift mounted safety platform in the workplace.People credited with this unit standard are be able to:
- Identify a powered industrial lift truck (PILT) safety cage and prepare to use a safety platform for a specified task on a worksite
- Complete pre-operational checks, and fit and remove safety platform to and from a PILT
- Use a PILT fitted with a safety platform to complete work at heights
