Training Coordinator (Hamilton)

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced coordinator to join our team, this role ensures the smooth operation of the day-to-day of our training program, which currently delivers the following courses throughout New Zealand: 

  • Biosecurity - Accredited Person and Transitional Facility Operator Training 
  • Customs Broker and Freight Forwarding Training
  • Forklift, Dangerous Goods and Wheels, Tracks and Rollers Training
  • IATA Training
  • Manual Handling Training

This is a dynamic role, where no day will be the same so you will need to enjoy working in a flexible environment. The areas you will be responsible for are: 

  • Taking phone and email bookings 
  • Course processing
  • Sending certificates 
  • Data entry for regulatory records
  • Meeting and greeting trainees
  • Course set up
  • General program administration

To be successful in this role you will ideally have: 

  • Proven coordination experience
  • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal with the capability of building strong and lasting relationships
  • Proficient in the Microsoft suite  
  • Be a team player, who is organised, flexible, uses your initiative and enjoys the challenge of working in an ever-changing environment 
  • Passionate about people and delivering a high standard of customer service

The hours of work are 7.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. This role is based at our Te Rapa Training centre in Hamilton. You must be entitled to work in New Zealand to apply for this role.

Training Coordinator (Auckland)

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced coordinator to join our team, this role will ensure the smooth coordination of our nationwide training scheduling for IVS Training. The training courses we deliver are:

  • Biosecurity - Accredited Person and Transitional Facility Operator Training 
  • Customs Broker and Freight Forwarding Training
  • Forklift, Dangerous Goods and Wheels, Tracks and Rollers Training
  • IATA Training
  • Manual Handling Training

This is a dynamic role, where no day will be the same, so you will need to enjoy working in a flexible environment. The areas you will be responsible for are: 

  • Creating the Nationwide schedule and continuous monitoring of the schedule
  • Liaising with IVS Trainers 
  • Venue bookings – liaising with venue representatives
  • Assisting with moderation and general program administration 

Coordinating the schedule is working with puzzle pieces that are continually moving, to be successful in this role you will ideally have: 

  • Proven coordination experience
  • An eye for detail, but have flexibility and be able to adjust to the moment
  • Enjoy problem solving and be solution focused 
  • Superb communication skills both written and verbal with the capability of building strong and lasting relationships
  • Proficient in the Microsoft suite   
  • Passionate about people and delivering a high standard of customer service to all stakeholders 

The hours of work are 7.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. The role is based at our Airport Oaks training centre in Auckland. You must to be entitled to work in New Zealand to apply for this role.

Trainer - Forklift, Dangerous Goods and/or Wheels, Tracks and Rollers

We currently have a position available for either a full time employee or contractor/s to join our team to deliver Forklift, Dangerous Goods and Wheels, Tracks and Rollers training. The role is based at our sites in Airport Oaks and Otahuhu, however as we offer onsite training to our customers, some travel will be required.

To be successful in this role you will ideally:

  • Have appropriate industry experience
  • Have the appropriate qualifications to deliver the training
  • An ability to engage with learners from diverse backgrounds
  • Good comprehension of sector regulations
  • Be a team player, yet able to work autonomously
  • Be well organised, flexible and use your initiative
  • Have a full drivers license

Our training is offered Monday to Saturday, so the hours of work differ and are 7.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday.
